$25M Overhaul Begins On Downtown Columbia Sheraton Hotel

Once done, the hotel in Columbia will have a total of 212 spacious guest rooms, a new rooftop pool, a new signature restaurant and a café.

COLUMBIA, MD — Construction has begun on the Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel renovation and redevelopment project located on the shores of Lake Kittamaqundi in downtown Columbia. The 290-room hotel, owned by Costello Construction, is undergoing a $25 million overhaul on the exterior along with two new structural additions boasting 76 uniquely appointed guest rooms.

All tower rooms will be remodeled and six-foot-wide terraces will be added to all lakefront units. Once complete, the hotel will house a total of 212 spacious guest rooms, a new rooftop pool, a new signature restaurant, a café, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an expansive bar-front terrace with spectacular views of the lake, an exclusive rooftop bar + lounge and more than 10,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor event space.
