2nd School Threat Traced To Caller From Outside U.S.

The second threat made in two weeks' time at River Hill High School has been traced to a caller from outside the U.S., police say.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — River Hill High School entered lockdown yet again on Tuesday after receiving a second threat.

This time the school was placed on a modified lockdown and classroom instruction was uninterrupted. According to WMAR, police conducted a sweep of the property to make sure the phoned in threat was not credible. The call was traced and officers confirmed that the phone number was the same one that was used in last week's threat made against the high school, WMAR reported.

WMAR disclosed that police believe the calls are coming from outside the United States.
