4 Charged in Wegmans Thefts: Police
A group allegedly tried to steal items from Wegmans,

COLUMBIA, MD — Four girls were charged in connection with a theft at Wegmans on Sunday, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Just before 10 p.m., police responded to the store in the 8800 block of Mcgaw Road for a report of a theft. Three girls had allegedly left the grocery store with unpaid merchandise, and a fourth had reportedly used counterfeit money to pay for items.
Officers saw the three juveniles—ages 9, 12 and 16—get into a vehicle as well as the 18-year-old who reportedly used the fake currency, and they conducted a stop. Charges are pending against the driver, who was reportedly behind the wheel while on a revoked license.

The three juveniles were released to the custody of a parent, while the 18-year old was charged with having forged currency and theft.
