4 Stops Added To Flash Blue Route In Howard Co.
Howard County Flash Bus Rapid Transit riders will have access to four new stops starting next week.
COLUMBIA, MD — Residents in Howard County will have four new stops along the Flash Bus Rapid Transit blue route starting Tuesday.
Flash is Montgomery County’s bus rapid transit system.
The Flash blue route will offer residents rides every 15 to 20 minutes from 5 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 8 p.m. between downtown Silver Spring (Montgomery County) and downtown Columbia.

Stops are at Merriweather Drive and Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, at Maple Lawn Boulevard in Fulton, and at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
The new stations also bring increased connections to regional transit networks. Riders from Howard County will be able to directly access more than 30 Ride On and Metrobus routes, Metrorail, MARC and the future Purple Line via the Silver Spring Transit Center. These connections provide access across the metropolitan Washington region.
