5 New Officers Join The Howard County Police Department

Five new officers have joined the Howard County Police Department. There's a hiring bonus available with extra for lateral officers.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Five new police officers have been sworn in with the Howard County Police Department.

As members of lateral class 41, the officers arrived from other agencies and went through an abbreviated police academy to learn HCPD policy and procedures.

The new officers are David Shaham, Chris Omesh, Blake Sheahin, Angel Orellana and Ana Turcios-Paz.
