Prostitution Sting Nets 7 Arrests In Howard County: Police

Police said men tried to solicit prostitution from an uncover female officer in Howard County.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Seven men are charged with solicitation of prostitution and disorderly conduct after they offered money to an undercover female police officer for sex, officials say. The suspects came from Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Harford and Prince George's counties.

The men had allegedly responded to an ad that police had placed on Backpage.com, a website often used in the sex business. Police said the men called the phone number from the ad, spoke with an undercover female officer and asked to meet. When the men showed up on Monday to an undisclosed hotel, authorities said these individuals were placed under arrest for solicitation of prostitution:

  • Michael Antonio Estu, 21, of Prince Frederick
  • Quintyn Anthony Fraser, 26, of Capitol Heights
  • Guillermo Alejandro Saenz-Moreno, 20, of Laurel
  • Jeffrey Jomo Walker, 49, of Abingdon
  • Wesley Karl Watkins, 30, of Severn
  • Sherman Marelle Wilkes, 38, of Owings Mills
  • Brandon Michael Williams, 21, of Laurel

Police said the men were arrested at a hotel in an undisclosed location in Howard County.

This operation is part of Howard County’s ongoing effort to combat human trafficking.

The Howard County Police Department regularly posts ads on Backpage alerting potential clients and victims that officers are watching and offering resources for support.
