7-Eleven Robber Strikes Twice in Columbia: Police

COLUMBIA, MD ā After the same convenience store in Columbia was robbed twice recently by the same suspect, officials are asking for help identifying the robber. There is a reward for information, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Both robberies took place at the 7-Eleven in the 5700 block of Columbia Road in the early morning hours, police said.
The most recent robbery occurred at 4:25 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11. According to police, the man went into the store, demanded money from the clerk, who complied; then he left with money.

At 2:17 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, police allege the same suspect had gone into the store, implied he had a weapon, then demanded money and cigarettes. Once the employee complied, he left.
Police said the suspect was a 5'11" tall black man of thin to average build.

Nobody was injured in either incident, according to officials.
Anyone with information may call police at 410-313-STOP or email HCPDcrimetips@howardcountymd.gov. A reward of up to $1,500 is being offered for information.
