Silver Alert Canceled, Police Say: 91-Year-Old Man Found
Police canceled a silver alert after a man who disappeared from Columbia, Maryland, was located Wednesday night.

UPDATE (8:50 p.m.) — A silver alert has been canceled Wednesday night after a missing 91-year-old man was located. Authorities had issued a lookout due to concerns about the man's health and need for time-sensitive medication.
Bernard Calvin Allen, 91, had last been seen at 5 a.m. on Harpers Farm Road in Columbia.
Before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, police reported that Allen was found safe and unharmed in Virginia.

PREVIOUS REPORT — Police issued a silver alert for a man last seen in Columbia. The missing man may be driving a red 2017 Chevy Sonic with Maryland tags "88390HD," police said.
Bernard Calvin Allen, 91, was last seen in the 5900 block of Harpers Farm Road in Columbia at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, according to authorities.

Allen may have traveled as far as Springfield, Virginia, police reported Wednesday night.
When last seen, he was wearing glasses, a blue baseball hat, gray pants, a blue checked shirt and brown sweater.
Allen is described as a black man with gray hair and a mustache who is approximately 5 feet-9-inches tall and 205 pounds.
Allen's family and police are concerned about his well-being due to health concerns related to his age, noting he may be confused and in need of time-sensitive medication.
Anyone who sees Allen or his vehicle should call 911.
