Additional Pop Up Pantries To Be Held Across Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — In an effort to reach more families in need of a boost during the coronavirus pandemic, the Howard County Food Bank began providing prepackaged bags of food with social distancing guidelines in place. These supplies of food also are offered through pop up pantries coordinated by Howard County Community Organizations Active in Disaster on different dates across the county.

The Howard County Food Bank is located at 9385 Gerwig Lane in Columbia. New clients should bring identification and proof of Howard County residency for their first visit. The food bank is open Tuesdays 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesdays 1 to 4 p.m.and by appointment only from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursdays 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment only 9 a.m. to noon.

The following dates and locations are for the pop up pantries that are open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Each family receives one bag of food provided by the Howard County Food Bank.
