HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.
Fiddler loves to talk and will make his presence known when you walk into a room. At age 8, he'd prefer a home where the children are older and can recognize when he wants to be left alone. He is neutered.

Milo's a furry, quiet and bashful bunny. He didn't have much human interaction with his previous owner, so his new family will need to work with him. He'll also need brushing to keep his fur from matting.

Bear is a chatty boy who needs lots of brushing from his new family. This 4-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix arrived as a stray, so not much is known about his behavior with dogs, cats or kids, so a slow introduction will be needed.

A bit shy, 11-month-old Ladie will be active and playful once she gets to know you. This boxer would do best with a fenced-in yard to play in and she will need obedience training. She got along terrifically with the kids ages 6 to 14 in her previous home, as well as another dog. She hasn't lived with cats, so she would need a slow introduction to one.

Flora was going to be abandoned by her previous owner when a friend intervened and rescued her. The 1-year-old female gecko would love to find someone who has lizard or gecko experience and will need a terrarium set up more vertical than horizontal so she can climb. She loves to munch on crickets and other gecko treats.

A super sweet guinea pig, 2-year-old Daphne is calm and accustomed to being handled. She'd be great for a family looking to adopt their first guinea pig.
