Adorable Adoptable Pets Of The Week In Howard County

These pets are searching for their forever homes. They currently are at the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Cindy is an 8-week-old female kitten looking for her forever home. She's a sweet girl that is learning from her siblings how to be a brave kitten. Cindy initially was shy, but with help from staff and volunteers, her confidence is growing. She's the sweet orange tabby in the back of the pile of kittens.

Scotty is a 2-year-old male Bichon Terrier mix. Weighing less than 20 pounds, Scotty is a good fit for someone looking for a small dog. He will need to be adopted into an adult-only dog savvy home. Scotty arrived at the shelter as a stray and was heavily matted. He was very uncomfortable and it was discovered that the poor guy had a severe ear infection. Scotty has since been shaved down and is currently on medication for his ear infection and will need someone experienced with medicating a dog. Scotty is a timid pup and will need a patient adopter that has the time to dedicate to his socialization.

Beauty is a 5-year-old spayed female looking for her forever home. She is affectionate and enjoys being close to her person. If you are seated, she will join you on the couch and if you are in the bathtub she will jump right into the water with you. In her previous home, Beauty lived with younger children but did not live with other cats or dogs. When you are not in the home with her, Beauty spends time looking out of windows, playing with her toys or seeking companionship from her stuffed animals.
