HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Five men have been arrested in a multi-day covert online child exploitation investigation carried out in Howard County.
Each of the suspects communicated with undercover officers through various online apps. They all arranged individually to meet and participate in sex acts with fictional juveniles at an undisclosed location in Columbia, the Howard County Police Department reported.
Each person was arrested at the meeting site and charged with sexual solicitation of a minor.
The five suspects arrested are:
"The goal of proactive operations like this is to make clear that this type of activity will not be tolerated in Howard County. Predators seeking to harm children should be warned to stay out of this jurisdiction," the police department stated.
