JESSUP, MD — Howard County police officers are searching for two suspects they say robbed the CVS in Jessup and assaulted a store employee.
The incident happened Sunday around 9:15 p.m. at the CVS located in the 7600 block of Port Capital Drive in Jessup.
A store employee told police officers that two men stole items from the CVS and assaulted the employee before taking off.
Last month, the Five Below located in the 8200 block of Gateway Overlook Drive in Elkridge was robbed by three suspects around 8:50 p.m. June 23.
A store employee told police that the three suspects went into the store, filled bags with merchandise and took off without paying. When confronted by the employee, one of the suspects threatened the staffer, Patch reported previously.
The Highs convenience store located in the 3000 block of Rogers Avenue in Ellicott City was robbed around 2:30 a.m. June 23.
According to Howard County Police, a store employee reported a man walked up to the counter, pulled out a weapon, and demanded money and cigarettes. The employee complied with the man's demands, then the suspect took off, Patch reported last month.
A teen was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at Weis Market in Elkridge that happened on June 10 around 8 p.m. Howard County police officers were called to the grocery store, located in the 6500 block of Waterloo Road.
According to the Howard County Police, a store employee approached police officers after he confronted a teenage boy who appeared to be stealing merchandise. The 15-year-old pulled out a pocket knife and then took off. Police found the 15-year-old nearby and arrested him, Patch reported.
