Fire Breaks Out In Garage At Columbia Home

Firefighters rushed to a garage fire at a Columbia home Tuesday morning, which was quickly extinguished without injuries.

COLUMBIA, MD — A fire broke out in a garage Tuesday morning shortly before 8 a.m. in Columbia.

Firefighters with Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services were dispatched to the home located in the 5000 block of Sheerock Court in Columbia where they found heavy fire conditions in the attached garage, according to the fire department.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly and no injuries were reported.
