Ellicott City resident Bernie Dancel, CEO and Chairman of Columbia-based Ascend One Corp., has been named one of the “25 CEOs You Need to Know” by The Gazette of Politics and Business. This award honors Maryland business leaders, and recognizes them for the success of their companies and their charitable work in the community.
The 2011 Award Winners were chosen from companies of all sizes from around the state of Maryland, with five different counties being represented by the winning companies. This year’s list of 25 winners was selected from over 150 nominees. The 25 winners will be honored at a luncheon and awards presentation on May 5 at The Ballroom in Bethesda, MD.
