Armed Men Rob 2 Columbia Exxon Stations: Police

Do you recognize these men? There is a $1,500 reward for information; they are suspected in armed robberies in Columbia

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department is asking for help finding two men who held up two Columbia gas stations this month.

Police said that both robberies occurred at Columbia Exxon stores on Wednesday May 3.

At 4:50 a.m., officials said two men with their faces partly covered went into an Exxon in the 8800 block of Centre Park Drive. One man showed a handgun and stole cash, then both suspects took a wallet from a man inside the store.

Two men believed to be the same suspects robbed the Exxon in the 8200 block of Snowden River Parkway at gunpoint less than three hours earlier. At 2:29 a.m, police said one man went into the store, showed a handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes. When the employee complied, the suspects left.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Howard County Police Department at 410-313-STOP or email HCPDcrimetips@howardcountymd.gov. There is a reward of up to $1,500 for information.
