Atholton Girls Basketball Falls To Frederick In State Championship
The Lady Raiders played the Cadets in the MPSSAA class 3A finals Saturday in Towson.

TOWSON, MD — The Atholton Lady Raiders fell to the Frederick Cadets in the class 3A girls basketball championship Saturday night.
Although the Raiders battled in a closely fought game, the Frederick Cadets won, 72-60.
The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA) class 3A finals were held at the SECU Arena at Towson University.

It was the first time the Lady Raiders made it to the state finals since 2008, according to the Howard County Times.
