Bank Robbed By Man In Columbia Wearing Safety Vest: Police

A man wearing an orange safety vest over a camouflage shirt robbed a bank in Owen Brown, police said.

COLUMBIA, MD — A bank was robbed in Columbia over the weekend, according to police. The suspect in the robbery is at large.

Police said that a man walked into the PNC Bank in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way, acted like he had a weapon and demanded cash. The robbery occurred at 1:16 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30.

The clerk complied, and the suspect left. Nobody was injured in the robbery, according to police.

The suspect was described as a black man who was approximately 6 feet tall and 250 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage shirt and orange safety vest as well as a gray beanie, police said.
