Bark Social Dog Park, Bar To Open In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A fun destination for dogs and their families will be opening in downtown Columbia. Bark Social, a bar and park open to canines, will move into a 5,000-square-foot location in the Merriweather District.

There will be an indoor area and a covered patio at the standalone building across from Merriweather Post Pavilion, reports the Baltimore Business Journal.

Bark Social's website describes the dog bar as a "clean, monitored and gated dog park that serves coffee and breakfast items in the morning and beer, wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and lunch items in the afternoon and evening." They also serve dog treats like doggy ice-cream, pupsicles, etc.

Bark Social has locations in Bethesda and Canton.
