Broken Land Break-In Spree: Columbia Crime

Two residences were burglarized and six vehicles were broken into on Monday in Columbia, Howard County police reported.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in Columbia.

Multiple cars were vandalized at the Park and Ride in the 9600 block of Broken Lane Parkway. The windows on six vehicles were broken, and it was unclear what had been taken. The incident was reported at 3:28 p.m. on Feb. 13.

A burglar broke into a bedroom through the window and stole cash. The break-in occurred between 12:40 and 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 in the 9600 block of White Acre Road.

A residence in the 9300 block of Old Line Drive was burglarized on Feb. 13 as well. It was not immediately apparent whether anything had been taken.
