Columbia House Fire Displaces Four: Officials
Authorities said a house fire on High Tor Hill Sunday afternoon caused a road closure, left four people without a home.

COLUMBIA, MD ā Four people were displaced by a fire in Columbia Sunday afternoon. Crews from three counties helped battle the blaze.
Firefighters were alerted to the working fire in the 5500 block of High Tor Hill after 3:30 p.m., according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard county crews helped battle the blaze.

High Tor Hill was closed in the area for the emergency response, officials reported at 4:30 p.m.
The Red Cross was asked to assist after four people were displaced by the fire, according to authorities.

The fire on High Tor Hill was the second that crews responded to in Howard County on Sunday.
Earlier, authorities said a brush fire had broken out in the 700 block of River Oak Court in Clarksville.
