Burglars Target Howard County Businesses In Weekend Crime Spree
Howard County police said several businesses were broken into over the weekend. Suspects are being sought.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Police reported several overnight burglaries of businesses scattered across the county.
A suspect or suspects broke into Montpelier Liquors, located in the 7500 block of Montpelier Road in Laurel, in the overnight hours of June 13. The suspect broke into the business through a glass door and stole lottery tickets, police reported.
A suspect also broke through a glass door at the BP located in the 8800 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup during the overnight hours of June 13. A face mask was reported stolen.

The Sunoco, located in the 6400 block of Freetown Road in Columbia, was broken into overnight on June 13 after a suspect or suspects forced their way into the business. It's unknown if anything was stolen, the police department reported.
The Superpawn was also broken into overnight on June 14, which is located in the 10100 block of Washington Boulevard in Laurel. The suspect or suspects forced their way into the business. It's unclear if anything was stolen, police said.
