 <td>Zofia Chamera earned her BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020 and her MFA in Studio Art from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2022. Working across clay, wax, bronze, and handmade paper, her sculpture explores the boundaries between fine art and craft. Chamera currently teaches Historic Papermaking at MICA and serves as a Papermaking Associate at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Baltimore, and Philadelphia, and internationally in Tuscany, Italy and Echizen, Japan. </td>

Chapter 422 Laurel of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees will host a luncheon meeting, Wed., June 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center, 7120 Contee Road, Laurel. Invited speakers are the Maryland Senators and Delegates from Districts 21 and 23, speaking on the results of the recent session in Annapolis. To date, Maryland Senator Jim Rosapepe, Maryland House Speaker and District 21 Delegate Joseline Pena-Melnyk and District 21 Delegate Mary Lehman, Maryland Senator Ron Watson and District 23 Delegate Kym Taylor and District 23 Delegate Marvin Holmes have responded affirmatively.
