City of Baltimore: Orioles vs Astros 6-Game Win Streak, 5-Day Forks-down to Summer Restaurant Week

July 19, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting the Baltimore Orioles are on a 6-game win streak.

The Birds beat the Houston Astros yesterday 4-2. The night before on Friday the Orioles won 3-2. Baltimore is starting the 2nd half of the season on a roll. They will be looking to sweep the Astros (2:10 PM) today. A road-sweep will be very impressive. Will the O's be making a playoff -run, only games played and series will tell. 

This Sunday also marks the 5-Day Forks-down to Summer Restaurant Week '26Baltimore Restaurant Week (BRW) is celebrating its 20th Anniversary (2006-26). Earlier this past January 23 - February 1 was the Winter-version. The 10-day "Forkabration Celebration" for over 70 restaurants is a great-time to visit some of the best-culinary establishments in Charm City. 

On February 20, 2020 (2-20-20) a special and unique situation occurred, Baltimore Restaurant Week and The "Charm'tastic Mile" both filed their USPTO www.uspto.gov (R) trademark applications on the same-day. The two would be both published as USPTO marks. It's an amazing historical-link for the culinary & culture historians of Baltimore. 

This past April 25th The "Charm'tastic Mile" reached a milestone celebrating its official 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of being introduced to the City of Baltimore. When The "Charm'tastic Mile" was published by the USPTO it joined a very select few U.S. streets to become trademarks, The Magnificent Mile, Rodeo Drive, Vegas Strip. 

Its April 25 date is also shared with the Iconic Domino Sugars neon sign. The Domino Sugars neon sign was unveiled on April 25, 1951, The "Charm'tastic Mile" was unveiled on April 25, 20216, 65-years apart. April 25th was also the official 75th Anniversary (1951-2026) of the majestic neon sign.
