Growing families with young children who are expecting a new baby are invited to join Howard County Library System Instructors, in partnership with Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, for a fun and welcoming class to prepare for the arrival of a new baby sibling. Enjoy stories, music, movement, and activities to increase your comfort in preparing for a new baby in the family, and then take a tour of the Birthing Center/Maternity Ward. This class will be provided in English and Spanish.
From age 2, with a maximum of two adults. Duration: 60 min. Registration is required for each child and adult attending; space is limited.
We invite families with young children expecting a new baby to join instructors from the Howard County Library System, in partnership with Johns Hopkins Medical Center of Howard County, for a fun and welcoming class that will help prepare children for the arrival of a new sibling. Enjoy stories, music, movement, and activities designed to help them feel more comfortable and excited about the new addition to the family. Afterward, they will participate in a tour of the Birthing Center/Maternity Ward. This class will be offered in both English and Spanish.
