Ellicott City, MD, 11/1/2026 – The SSgt. Karl G. Taylor Marine Corps League Detachment 1084 invites the public to a special community give-back event on Monday, November 16, 2026, from 11 AM to 9 PM at Tino’s Restaurant,8775 Centre Park Dr., Columbia, MD 21045.
During the event, up to 10% of your food purchase will be donated directly to the SSgt. Karl G. Taylor Detachment 1084 Scholarship Fund.
The funds raised will support higher education and vocational opportunities for veterans and high school students.
“Our goal is to continue serving our community by empowering the next generation of leaders and skilled workers.” Said Commandant Bill Swain. “Partnering with Tino’s Restaurant gives our neighbors an easy and enjoyable way to support our veterans and students while enjoying a great meal.
Patrons can participate by dining in or delivery by ordering directly from Tino’s by calling (410) 730-8466 and mentioning the Marine Corps League Scholarship Fundraiser. Ordering through Doordash or Grubhub does not count toward the fundraiser.

The SSgt. Karl G. Taylor Marine Corps League is a non-profit organization composed of honorably discharged Marine and Navy FMF Corpsmen. The organization is dedicated to preserving Marine Corps traditions, supporting veterans and their families, and actively contributing to local youth and educational programs.
