Car Collides With Gravel Truck In Columbia, Killing One: Police
The driver of a gravel truck is dead and the driver of a passenger car in critical condition after the two collided near Columbia Oct. 18.
COLUMBIA, MD — A fatal collision occurred Friday morning at 8:06 a.m. along Route 29 in Columbia. Police were summoned to the site of an accident involving an overturned gravel truck and a passenger vehicle Oct. 18. The man driving the gravel truck was dead upon arrival.
According to a Howard County police report, the gravel truck collided with a passenger vehicle that was turning left from Route 29 southbound onto Rivers Edge Road. The woman driving the car was taken to Shock Trauma in critical condition.
