Carjacking At The Mall In Columbia, Suspect Arrested: Police
Police said a suspected carjacker went on to commit another crime in Columbia recently.

COLUMBIA, MD — Police said a woman was in her parked car near The Mall in Columbia recently when she was carjacked. The suspect was arrested after trying to enter a nearby residence, according to authorities.
A man got into a woman's vehicle, assaulted her and stole her vehicle in the area of the Columbia mall in 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway at 3:35 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, police reported.
When police were called to respond, officials said they found the vehicle nearby. The suspect was also located shortly thereafter.

Authorities reported the same suspect rang a doorbell in the area, then assaulted the person who opened the door and tried to get inside.
Jermaine Ryan Holley, 28, of Procopio Circle in Columbia, was charged with carjacking, robbery, assault, theft and rogue and vagabond, according to the Howard County Police Department.
