Celebrate St. Patrick's Day this weekend with special food, drinks, activities and a guest appearance by Irish wolfhounds.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — When March 17 rolls around, don't forget to wear green but before then, be sure and check out a couple of fun activities in the area.

Manor Hill Brewing's farm and taproom will offer a St. Patrick's Day celebration March 16 from noon to 7 p.m. with numerous beverage specials, pizza, ice cream, live music and more.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Tony Locos in Woodbine with kegs and eggs starting at 9 a.m., then food and drink specials throughout the day and music by DJ Nick.

Alexandra's American Fusion Restaurant will offer a St. Patrick's Day brunch March 17 from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Irish classics.

The Crazy Mason will team up with Kupcakes & Co. for a cupcake decorating and milkshake event March 17. Pre-registration is required.

Merriweather Lakehouse Hotel will host a live bagpiper performance March 17 from 2 to 3 p.m. on the patio followed by a whiskey tasting and Irish food.

Old Ellicott City businesses will host activities plus drink and food specials March 16 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be Irish wolfhounds on the lawn of the Howard County Welcome Center from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with live Irish music at the B&O Plaza. At 3 p.m., the bar crawl will start at AxGuard Axes.
