Cocktail Crawl Features Signature Menu Items and Drink Samples Dec. 1

Columbia Association and Downtown Columbia Partnership host Festive Friday seasonal activities, music and food at the Columbia Lakefront

Columbia Association (CA) is lighting up the Columbia Lakefront for the holidays and will co-host three events there with the Downtown Columbia Partnership starting with a Festive Friday Cocktail Crawl Dec. 1, 6-8 p.m., for those 21 and over.

Participating restaurants Cured, lak Columbia, Offshore/Encore, Sushi Sono and The 3rd will have stations along the Lakefront. Each will provide a signature appetizer and featured drink sample to registered attendees who will check in at the Lakefront pavilion or in front of the Merriweather Lakehouse hotel.

Specialty offerings include Cuban Sliders and Smoked Old Fashioned from Cured/18 & 21st, Spiced Chicken Confit Crostini and Peppermint Martini from lak Columbia, Shrimp Bisque and Winter Spiced Mulled Wine from Offshore/Encore, Kalua Pig Quesadilla with Mango Salsa and Winter Sangria from The 3rd, and California & Vegetable Sushi Roll and assorted Saki from Sushi Sono.

Family Festive Fridays at the Lakefront are set for Dec. 8 and 15, from 5:30-8 p.m. The free events will feature ice sculpture, music, and arts and crafts activities for children. Participating businesses include Offshore/Encore, Sushi Sono, The Pearl, The 3rd and Whole Foods Market. Register for Dec. 8 event here. Register for Dec. 15 event here.

Attendees for Lakefront events are directed to park on the upper or lower levels of the Wincopin Garage, in the parking garage in front of Merriweather Lakehouse, on the parking lots at Sterrett Place or at The Mall. There is no event parking allowed in the Whole Foods Market parking lots.
