The Collective Columbia Teams Up With HCPSS To Benefit Students

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Heading into the new school year, the Howard County Public School System will team up with The Collective Columbia to provide performance opportunities for high school student choral groups and host HCPSS music teachers for professional development and the Teacher as Artists music concert series.

The Collective also will work with HCPSS’ academic offices to explore internship opportunities for high school students. The Collective comprises the restaurant Offshore and Encore, a live performance venue.

The HCPSS Partnerships Office has paired schools with more than 1,000 businesses and community organizations to enhance the educational experience of Howard County students.
