Columbia Apartment Fire: 2 Treated For Smoke Inhalation, Officials Say

BREAKING The fire on Little Patuxent Parkway was reported before 7 p.m. on Friday, Howard County public safety officials said.

COLUMBIA, MD — Two people are being treated for smoke inhalation after fire broke out Friday night in a Columbia apartment building, officials report.

After 6:45 p.m., crews were at the scene of an apartment fire in the 11400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Fire was found in the hallway, and two people were receiving treatment due to smoke inhalation, officials said before 7 p.m.

By 7 p.m., authorities said the fire was out and an inspector had been notified.
