Columbia Bands To Host Inaugural Small Ensembles Concert

Columbia Bands, Inc. is proud to host it first small ensembles concert featuring 13 woodwind, brass, and jazz ensembles.

Columbia Bands, Inc. is a non-profit community organization that gives non-professional musicians the opportunity to rehearse and perform challenging band literature while educating and entertaining the public in Howard County and other Maryland communities. This month, the organization is giving its musicians the opportunity to provide the community with a different kind of concert, focusing on small ensembles and chamber music.

The small ensembles concert will showcase 13 different groups which will include everything from a saxophone quartet to clarinet and flute choirs. Brass quintets and even jazz combos will also be featured as part of this celebration of music which allows the musicians of Columbia Bands, Inc. to perform something special and different for the community.

The concert will be held 3:00pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the River Hill High School Auditorium in Clarksville, MD. No tickets are required, and admission is completely free.
