Burglar In Coat, Mask Hits 2 Columbia Businesses: Video
Do you recognize this person? The Howard County Police Department is investigating two burglaries in Columbia as related.
COLUMBIA, MD — Have you seen anyone in recent months skulking around in a coat, white gloves and mask during the evening hours? A burglar was caught on video breaking into Columbia businesses clad in this type of attire but has yet to be identified by police.
The Howard County Police Department released video of the suspect on Friday, Aug. 17.

In the video, the burglar smashes glass with a tool, climbs into the business, grabs what looks like a cash drawer and leaves with it out the window.
The suspect was wearing gloves, a mask and what appeared to be yoga leggings with mesh panels.

Investigators suspect the same person is responsible for breaking into Huntington Deli & Market and Love Cleaners. Both businesses are located in the 7600 block of Murray Hill Road in Columbia and they are right next to one another.
Police said Huntington Deli & Market was burglarized on Wednesday, June 13.
Love Cleaners was hit next at 12:49 a.m. on Thursday, June 21.
