Columbia Cyber Company Honored With Industry Award

MasterPeace Solutions of Columbia, a cyber and technology company, has been recognized for overall excellence in several areas.

COLUMBIA, MD — MasterPeace Solutions of Columbia, a cyber and technology company, has been recognized for overall excellence in performance, innovation and collaboration with Raytheon. The company was awarded an EPIC Award.

MasterPeace has created Centers of Excellence (COEs) technology transformation in the areas of full spectrum cyber operations, machine learning/artificial intelligence/big data analytics, UX/UI design and development, and cloud computing.

“At MasterPeace, we strive to take on the hardest challenges and be excellent across a range of the latest technologies, including cloud, big data analytics, IoT, SDN and others. We currently have engineers leading cutting edge implementations on literally dozens of programs spanning these areas. This is why it’s exciting to be recognized for our work on computer network operations (CNO) by Raytheon, a leader in that space,” said Ethan Guild, Raytheon account manager at MasterPeace. “CNO is one of the most specialized and technically challenging missions we serve. This recognition shows that we can be both deep and broad, and it’s very gratifying to know that we’re able to excel in the most complex technology areas.”

This recognition by Raytheon adds to the Columbia company's list of accomplishments. In November 2019, MasterPeace was named one of the top incubators and accelerators in Maryland by the Baltimore Business Journal. Earlier in 2019, MasterPeace’s osMUD project to reduce IoT device vulnerabilities was recognized as a key contributor to a NIST-led consortium which endeavors to make it significantly harder for malicious actors to compromise and exploit IoT devices on a home or small-business network.
