Columbia Home Gets Help From HoCo's Finest

The Howard County Police Department sent trainees out in the field to help Rebuilding Together with house project.

COLUMBIA, MD — Recruits from the Howard County Police Department took time to help fix up a Columbia home recently.

Trainees left the academy and went out into the community for a hands-on experience last Saturday at a home in Columbia that was in need of repairs.

To make the modifications, the recruits participated in the Rebuilding Together Howard County program, which is part of a national nonprofit that helps provide low-income homeowners with critical home repairs.
