Columbia House Fire Displaces 6: HoCo Fire And Rescue
Officials said that two dogs, four children and two adults were displaced by a fire in Columbia Friday night.
COLUMBIA, MD – A family of six was displaced by a house fire in Columbia Friday night, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. Nobody was injured in the blaze, which officials said was reported after 7 p.m.
Multiple calls came into the 911 center about smoke and flames showing from a house in the 9200 block of Soaring Hill Road, according to authorities. Crews found heavy fire when they arrived at the two-story split-foyer home, officials said.
Four children, two adults and two dogs who lived in the home had already evacuated from the burning house when firefighters arrived.
