Columbia Man Reported Missing: Police

Have you seen this man? His family is concerned about his welfare, police say.

A Columbia man has not been seen since leaving home Thursday morning, and his family is concerned about his welfare due to health concerns, Howard County police reported Friday evening.

William Dean Brandenburg, 68, of the 10300 block of Swift Stream Place, does not have access to a car, police reported.

He was last seen leaving his home in the Town Center area of Columbia at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, according to the report.

Brandenburg was wearing a green-and-yellow striped polo shirt, blue jeans, dark blue and white shoes and may have had on a fisherman’s hat, police said. He is described as 6 feet tall, 220 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

His family reported him missing Friday and police have been unsuccessful in finding him so authorities are asking the public for help.
