Columbia McDonald's Employee Stole Customers' Credit Info: Police
A teen is charged after taking more than orders at the Cradlerock Way McDonald's, according to Howard County Police Department.

COLUMBIA, MD — A 16-year-old Columbia boy was charged with theft after police said he was stealing credit card information from people at McDonald's. The teen worked at the drive-through at the fast-food restaurant in the 7200 block of Cradlerock Way.
According to authorities, police were notified of suspicious activity at McDonald's near the Owen Brown shopping center and began looking into the matter.
Upon investigation, police said that an employee had been stealing credit card information from patrons and using it to buy things.

A total of 14 people had their information stolen and used for fraudulent purposes, according to the Howard County Police Department.
The Columbia teen faces multiple theft charges.
