Columbia Musician Receives Music For Humanity Scholarship
Music for Humanity has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a Columbia musician who is a classical guitarist.
COLUMBIA, MD — A musician from Columbia has been honored with a $1,000 scholarship from Music for Humanity. Yeram Yoon is a classical guitarist and is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisc.
Music for Humanity scholarships are designed to help students who possess a passion for music who need financial assistance to continue their musical education at an accredited school. Music for Humanity recently approved $18,000 in scholarships, bringing its total of scholarships awarded to date to $100,000.
