Columbia Restaurant Will Feed Health Care Workers On Thanksgiving
The Walrus Oyster and Ale House in Columbia intends to deliver Thanksgiving meals to approximately 700 employees at HCGH.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Many health care employees will be working Thursday while their families are at home celebrating Thanksgiving. But The Walrus Oyster and Ale House in Columbia is making sure they don't miss out on a delicious holiday meal.
On Thursday, employees will feed 700 front line health care employees at Howard County General Hospital. The food will be delivered Thanksgiving morning.
"We find it so important throughout the course of the pandemic to keep the people who keep our community safe fed. They work long hours sometimes there's cafeteria food, they bring their own snacks from home, but they should have a hot delicious meal," WMAR reported.
