Columbia Woman Wins $1K Shopping Spree
Verizon gave a military family from Columbia a $1,000 shopping spree for the holidays.

COLUMBIA, MD — A Columbia woman who photographs soldiers as they arrive at Baltimore Washington International Airport was rewarded this week for her volunteer efforts and her service to the country. Verizon gave her a tech shopping spree just in time for the holidays.
The company asked for nominations to identify outstanding military families who give their all.
Robin Shotola, who volunteers with Operation Welcome Home — which celebrates the return of miliary members as they arrive at BWI — was selected as a winner. She is known for documenting the arrivals and special moments through her photographs.
