Columbia's 2019 Hops & Harvest Festival Moves To Symphony Woods

COLUMBIA, MD — The 2019 Hops & Harvest Festival will be changing locations this year. The event has been held at the Lakefront in Columbia the past three years, but this year is moving to Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods.

The festival will be held Oct. 5 this year and there will be only one session from noon to 5 p.m. Organizers say that the larger venue at Symphony Woods enables everyone to enjoy the activities and visit vendors at the same time instead of in two separate sessions. There will be more than 80 breweries, wineries, distilleries and craft artisans, along with local food vendors and live entertainment provided by DJ Chris Tharp, Miss Moon Rising, Skribe and Pressing Strings. Games include Cornhole, giant Jenga, Bear Pong, axe throwing, Viking Hammer and a play space with plenty of games for kids.

“We are thrilled to bring the Hops & Harvest Festival to Columbia, MD for the fourth year in a row,” said Hops & Harvest Festival founder and CEO Chad D’Amore in a statement. “As the festival continues to grow, so does our need for a larger space. This welcomed change allows us to showcase even more of what Maryland has to offer.”
