Commercial Building Burns In Elkridge

ELKRIDGE, MD — Firefighters were called to a commercial building Wednesday around 4:45 a.m.

Howard County firefighters arrived at the property located in the 6800 block of Route 1. They found smoke rolling out of the building when they arrived and were able to quickly located the fire and extinguish it, the fire department stated.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire, the department said.
