Community Foundation Of Howard County Holding Dec. 3 Event

The annual dinner and celebration of philanthropy will be held virtually at 6 p.m. Order meals online by Dec. 2.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Community Foundation of Howard County will hold its annual dinner and celebration of philanthropy virtually Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. The foundation will highlight accomplishments, showcase nonprofits and recognize and thank individuals, families and businesses in Howard County for their generosity and leadership. The Leadership Council Award and The Casey and Pebble Willis Making a Difference Award also will be presented.

Bushel and a Peck Kitchen & Bar in Clarksville has partnered with the foundation to provide takeout dinner and drinks for the event. Participants can choose braised beef short rib, jumbo lump crab cake or vegetable risotto with herb-crusted cauliflower for dinner. Order online by Dec. 2.

The Community Foundation of Howard County forges connections between donors and nonprofit organizations to provide investments in Howard County. The foundation has awarded more than $25 million in grants to organizations delivering human service, arts and cultural, educational and civic programs. Money for the grant programs comes primarily from income generated by the foundation’s endowment supported by more than 300 funds established by Howard County businesses, families and individuals.
