A construction project replacing a water main along Mayfield Avenue in Elkridge that starts Monday will require temporary lane closures.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Starting Monday, a construction project to replace the existing eight-inch water main along Mayfield Avenue from Grassy Garth to Homeplace Lane in Elkridge will require temporary lane shifts.
The project requires the installation of approximately 700 linear feet of eight-inch PVC water main and cross-connecting pipes and appurtenances. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by late June 2023.
Flagging operations will be in place to direct traffic while temporary lane shifts are needed during construction hours Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
