HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As the new coronavirus continues to concern residents, officials with the Howard County Health Department will lead community presentations at various county library branches this week to discuss the current situation, local planning efforts and highlight the everyday actions people can take to help limit the spread of the virus.
The presentation on March 4 from 7-8:30 p.m. at East Columbia Library will be streamed via Facebook Live and posted on YouTube afterward for those unable to attend or who do not want to be in a public setting. The March 5 presentation will be held at the Elkridge Library and March 10 from 2-3 at the Miller Library.
