Couple Uses Tranquil Condo Setting For Relocated Business
Healing Point Acupuncture & Healing Arts in Columbia recently relocated to a new site, a condo, that's better suited for their services.

COLUMBIA, MD — Healing Point Acupuncture & Healing Arts in Columbia recently relocated in order to offer even more services, including acupuncture, psychotherapy, massage, yoga and meditation, in a tranquil and relaxed setting. Owners Bridget and Brandon Hughes, the husband and wife owners, acquired a larger space. They were previously located at Medical Pavilion of Howard County General Hospital. The couple also maintains a practice in Severna Park.
“Our vision was to create a facility with a retreat-like environment and a special feel, and it became clear we would not be able to accomplish this in a typical commercial office building setting,” explained Bridget Hughes. “We are providing services by practitioners who bring not only world-class skills but also bring a sometimes-overlooked, yet crucial component of healing: the attitude and energy of the practitioners. The setting of the practice sets the stage for healing. We wanted to create a space that is not only visually attractive but feels good, and feels healing from the moment you walk in the front door.”
The owners continue to add professionals with the goal of having 10 practitioners at the Columbia condominium they are using for their business. They also intend to offer education classes, pain management and other holistic services in a relaxed setting.
