Cow Leads HoCo Police on Chase

Officers were called to help wrangle a bovine on Memorial Day.

As many were gathered outside for cookouts on Memorial Day, police said a cow was having a picnic on US 40 in Howard County.

The animal was hanging out in the median on Route 40 between Marriottsville Road and Pebble Beach Drive, according to police.

The cow's owner had tried to lasso the animal, to no avail.
