Serious Crash Closes Road In Clarksville: HoCo Fire And Rescue

BREAKING: A medevac has been called to a crash Saturday morning in Clarksville, officials say.

CLARKSVILLE, MD — A serious crash has shut down Brighton Dam Road in Clarksville. Officials said around 10:30 a.m. that a medevac was on the way.

The collision occurred on Brighton Dam Road at Firethorn Lane, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

Due to the response, the road was closed, and drivers were advised to avoid the area of Brighton Dam Road.

By 10:34 a.m., authorities said the victim had been freed from the vehicle and would be taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
